About this timer

Set any countdown in hours, minutes and seconds, or tap one of the presets for the common durations. Press Start and the timer counts down, sounding an alarm and turning orange when it reaches zero.

Pause stops the countdown without losing your place, and Resume continues from exactly where it stopped. Reset returns the timer to the duration you set.

The countdown works from a fixed end time rather than ticking downward, so it stays correct even if you switch tabs and your browser slows the page in the background. The tab title changes when time is up, so you can see it without switching back. Keep the tab open for the alarm to sound.
